Alpha Day at the Capitol

Organized by the Chapter’s Political Action Committee, Alpha Day at the Georgia Capitol provided brothers with a meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of Georgia’s legislative process and the role advocacy plays in shaping public policy. The program equipped members with practical insight on how to effectively engage legislators, navigate the lobbying process, and remain active in civic affairs.

A proud moment of the day occurred when Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was formally acknowledged on the legislative floor, recognizing the Fraternity’s longstanding commitment to leadership, service, and civic engagement throughout the state.

The afternoon concluded with fellowship over lunch, followed by an informative panel discussion and remarks from state leadership. The dialogue reinforced the importance of sustained involvement and strategic advocacy to ensure our communities are represented and served.
